Should I believe my police chief?

Good Morning Miss ___,

I had a very pleasant conversation with your father yesterday. He told me about mental health issues and that you’re seeking help from a doctor. Let me assure you, you are not in “trouble” in any way. The ____ Police Department is not investigating you and after a quick check of our computer system, no other federal, state or local police department in the United States is looking for you either.

Chief ___

The police department has access to more information than your attorney. [I asked him if I should pester my attorney for more info] The ___ Police Department is not investigating you and after a quick check of our computer system, no other federal, state or local police department in the United States is looking for you either.

Chief ___

My psychiatrist said when confronted with reality, an anxious person will accept reality but a paranoid person will persist in his beliefs. She diagnosed me depressed and paranoid. My attorney stopped answering my emails because he thinks I’m crazy. The police chief said many young women in affluent communities think they’re in trouble because they feel guilty about what they have. The only people freaking me out right now are other bloggers. We Have Met The Enemy And He Is Us. Truly. Should I believe these three top professionals? Four. My dad is a professor emeritus who won the Millikan Medal for best physics professor in the United States. I feel better now. Thanks, Dad.
